We needed to get out of the office and get some inspiration — there is only so much inspiration to be found in an email or a PowerPoint presentation, especially on a sunny summer Friday.  So we took a little trip to the MoMA to see Home Delivery: Fabricating the Modern Dwelling.

(A sort-of corollary:  Have a look through an article called “The Eureka Hunt” in the 7/28/08 issue of The New Yorker that talks about the areas of your brain that are responsible for those moments of genuine insight — so-called “eureka” moments — and the conditions, especially relaxation and not focusing, that are necessary to achieve one.)
